Custom Gate Design and Pricing
GATES SHIP NATIONWIDEOur Process
Because our custom gates are one-of-a-kind projects, we don’t have set prices. The cost depends on what you want, and every project is a little different. Read about how we do our estimates in this article, “How Much Does a Driveway Gate Cost.”
To help you develop a budget, we have three price categories described below with pictures – essential, signature and legacy.
And, when you contact us, we’ll lead you through this three-step process:
1. FREE CONSULTATION
We prefer you to come by our office so we can meet you in person, but because we ship gates nation wide, that is not an option for everyone. So, we’ll set up an online video or phone consultation if in person is not an option.
2. TARGET BUDGET
During the consultation, we will discuss your project’s target budget. If you don’t have one in mind, we can provide you a rough budget range based on similar projects after you describe your ideas and show us some pictures of what you have in mind.
3. DESIGN AGREEMENT
We’ll ask you to sign our design agreement based on your target budget. The cost of will be between $1,000 – $3,000 depending on the scope of your project. The fee will be applied towards the project if you hire us to build the project. You will receive a concept drawing and a formal estimate with all the

Do I need to come to the shop?
No, you don’t. All consultations can be done over the phone, so there’s no need to travel. That said, if you’re local and want to come by, you’re always welcome to visit our Weatherford shop by appointment.
Can I visit the shop during fabrication?
Absolutely — by appointment! We love having clients stop by to see their gate coming to life. Just reach out to schedule a time and we’ll be happy to show you around.
How do I track the progress of my gate?
We use JobTread to keep our clients in the loop throughout the entire build. You’ll receive updates and photos along the way, so you always know exactly where things stand.
What is the design agreement fee?
The design agreement fee typically ranges from $1,000 to $2,000 depending on the complexity of your project.
What if I'm not sure what style I want?
That’s completely okay — we love helping clients find their vision! Browsing our gallery or pinning ideas on Pinterest before your consultation is a great place to start.
What if I'm not happy with the design?
Jeffery is an artist at heart, and that shows in every gate that leaves his shop. He takes deep pride in his craft and genuinely cares that each gate is something you’ll love for decades. If something isn’t right, we keep working until it is.
How long does it take to build a custom gate?
Most gates take approximately 4 to 6 months from design agreement to delivery, depending on the complexity of the design. We’ll give you a clearer timeline once we understand the scope of your project.
